In order to ensure these contractual commitments vis-à-vis its customers, XELLISS collects the data necessary for implementation of its services.

This data is collected when the customer:

● creates a personal space on one of the XELLISS sites;

● makes a request for information on one of the XELLISS sites;

● places an order on one of the XELLISS sites, or by any other means;

● navigates on one of the XELLISS sites and/or consults the products;

● takes part in a game or competition;

● contacts the customer services;

● writes an opinion/comment visible on one of the XELLISS sites.

We will never use your telephone number for telemarketing; your number is used exclusively to contact you for customer service purposes.

Furthermore, if you do not wish to be bothered at all by telemarketing, you can register your telephone number at www.bloctel.fr. This is a form of red list to prohibit telemarketing on your number. No company will be allowed to contact you on this number for canvassing purposes.

Data storage

All data collected and processed is stored within the European Union. However, in the event that one of XELLISS' subcontractors is located outside the European Union, XELLISS, in its capacity as data controller, implements all necessary measures to ensure the security of its customers' data.

Bank details

XELLISS.com uses PAYLINE, an online payment service provider, to process payments on behalf of XELLISS customers. The payment information that you provide on the XELLISS site may be transmitted to PAYLINE in order to process your payment.

Data retention period

The data is stored and used for a duration in accordance with the prevailing legislation.

Right to access and rectify your data

In accordance with Law 78-17 "Informatique et Libertés" dated 6 January 1978, each person has the right to access, rectify and oppose his or her personal data.

In accordance with Article 40 of the aforementioned law, all applications must be accompanied by a photocopy of a valid, signed identity document and state the address at which XELLISS can contact the applicant. A reply will be sent within one month of receipt of the application.

Finally, each person has the right to the portability of the personal data they have transmitted to the data controller. This right is subject to the same conditions as the right of access and rectification.  

 

Password

Each username and password are unique and intended exclusively for the person who creates them.

In order to ensure data security, it is important to take the following basic precautions:

● it is recommended that your password be more than twelve characters long and include, in particular, a capital letter, numbers, a punctuation mark or a special character;

● the created password must not be linked to any element of your life;

● each account must have its own password.

Use of "cookies"

What is a "cookie"?

A "cookie" or tracer is an electronic file deposited on a device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and read, for example, when consulting a website, reading an e-mail, installing or using software or a mobile application, regardless of the type of device used. When navigating on one of the XELLISS sites, "cookies" from the company responsible for the site concerned and/or third-party companies may be deposited on your device.
